"And they put you in charge?" She rolled her eyes. "Fire and water are weaknesses of each other. Water will put out fire and fire will evaporate water. We are each others' weakness." She picked up the apple and watched the ice begin to melt. "We better be a team or we will get nothing done together."

"Ok then. Well you start a job at any time you want. Oh and when you do a job make sure you get the reward afterwards. I've had people forget to get the reward. Because of that the guild is low on cash." Ryu said to Cloven.

"Well by the door we have the job board with all the easy to medium level jobs. Each job has a set reward given by the client. If you do what the client wants you to do then he or she will give you the reward they offered." Ryu explained to her.

"Just a kid," she repeated with a nervous laugh. She was not just a kid anymore. She was grown and had been for so long. But as grown and big as she was now, she still had the social skills of a child just getting out in the world. She hadn't ever left the small area she and Charlie lived in so she was not used to people. So many people.

Cloven nodded. "Sure, go sleep." At that she stood up and walked to the door of the building ready to head home. That was enough for one day

Cloven did not return to the guild. She was not ready to handle the outside world especially people she did not think she could trust. She sat in the cottage and watched one by one as each inch of the front door froze reminding her she was not ready.
Thus ends this chapter for Cloven Ackles.
