Alice's POV
Ten years ago, I remember what I always asked dad,
"Daddy? How did you and Mommy meet?". He always shook his head and told his story.
"In a far away land lived 2 great items, the dragons and the angels. They fought like you've never seen and would show no mercy in war. I was only young, but still, I feel like it was yesterday when I met your mother. I was 2,000 and she was 1,000. I was walking in the outskirts of angel territory and suddenly I was stopped by your mother. She was very badly wounded so I healed her. She then kissed in thanks and flew away. I didn't see her for 7,000 more years but I still remembered her. Finally after 7,000 years passed the Dragons and Angels became allies and started a new race, Humans. Me and your mother found eachother, and married at last. I then became the king of dragons!", Dad said.
He would then kiss me goodnight and leave my room.
